Gender Studies: Which female singers and/or celebrities do you think?

No you should be grateful for Joni Mitchel, Joan Baez, Carole King, Dusty Springfield i.e. real singer songwriters not some idiot who used sensationalism to mask a complete lack of talent. The only thing that Madonna did was make costume and pageantry more important than music, which in my opinion was a very bad thing.
