Why do people compare EVERYONE to lady gaga?

Well, I've certainly never compared anyone to her. I've never even seen her, except for maybe a still photo or two, and I could not pick her out of a lineup. But it is good that you are tackling these important issues of the day head-on. I can't tell you what your focus on this topic may mean to future generations.
