Why do so many people criticize Lady Gaga? ?

i think the most obvious reason is she's odd. alot of people don't appreciate others if they don't act "normal" whatever that means in this world now a days. i guess they don't like how she doesn't follow the crowd in terms of behavior and clothing apparel. i admit she is strange with the meat dress and stage preformances and music videos. i don't like to be a follower. i like being an individual and having my own style. but sometimes i think lady gaga tries too hard and she takes things too far. personally, i don't really like lady gaga or her music but i think it's generally wrong to criticize others because they're different. i have to disagree you with that she's the most innovative performer. i think Freddie Mercury is.
