Is it true that if you cant write a song?

if you dont understand the lyrics of some songs like lady gagas bad romance of poker face or madonnas songs, is it true that you will never become a famous singersongwrite your self if you dont understand lyrics ? , i have asked loads of questions on here and im still stuck i want to write songs as good as madonna or lady gaga ,what else can i do i mean we do have drama schools in england but their so expensive are you either born with it or not ?? urggh hope anyone can help thanks
